Our School Newsletter is published fortnightly. It covers a wide variety of items including: latest news, notifications, reminders, reviews, sporting results and triumphs; extra-curricular activities and much more. We use the Newsletter to keep our parents informed of what is happening at school – from menu changes to music lessons and match reports. If something is happening at Milbourne, parents always get to hear about it.

Lower 6 pupils win Alfred Huberman national writing competition

Congratulations to Two of our Lower Sixth pupils; Thomas (1st Prize)  and Theodore  (Highly Commended), who have today been announced as winners of the national Alfred Huberman writing project. Pupils entered the competition as part of their work on the Arthur Ransome Theme in IT & Art. 


Milbourne Lodge is judged ‘Outstanding in All Areas’

Halfords Gear-Up! Workshop with Form 3

We were fortunate enough to have Alan and Sam from the Byfleet Halfords store visit Milbourne Lodge this week to give a practical bike maintenance workshop to Form 3 (Year 5) pupils. 


U6 Scholars Review ‘Romeo and Juliet’ at the Globe Theatre

On Thursday 24th May our U6 scholars travelled to the Globe Theatre in London to see Romeo and Juliet. The theatre was built to look as close to the original Globe theatre as possible so we were interested to see what it would have looked like when William Shakespeare was writing and working there.


Milbourne Lodge Parent Feedback Programme wins award for innovation and excellence

Our ‘Voice of the Parent’ programme has won a 2017 Confirmit ACE (Achievement in Customer Excellence) Award. This is the second year that this programme, implemented by Cognita across all their schools, has been commended, with the ongoing feedback received from parents directly inputting into the continuous improvement at the school.


House Music Competition 2017

The Church of the Holy Name in Claygate was the stage for the finals of the Milbourne Lodge House Music Competition 2017. It was a wonderful evening of musical entertainment with a range of ages and abilities taking part.
