Our School Newsletter is published fortnightly. It covers a wide variety of items including: latest news, notifications, reminders, reviews, sporting results and triumphs; extra-curricular activities and much more. We use the Newsletter to keep our parents informed of what is happening at school – from menu changes to music lessons and match reports. If something is happening at Milbourne, parents always get to hear about it.

Winners of the Michael O’Mara Books Personal Choice Award at the Global Canvas Schools Art Competition Finals

The finals of the David Shepherd Global Schools Art Competition – ‘Into The Wild’ were held at the Natural History Museum on Thursday March 15th. 4,500 entries were received from 13 countries. Of this total, 15 schools were then shortlisted for the final exhibition.

10 pupils from Year 6 scored highly enough in PMC last term to be invited to sit the Bonus Round this term. The top 4.7% of entrants were chosen to enter the Bonus round, so even being selected was a huge achievement.

We are delighted to announce that Milbourne Lodge has been selected as one of the fifteen schools selected to take part in the final and will showcase their Art and IT work at the Natural History Museum in March.

We like to enter the pupils at Milbourne for a variety of challenging competitions, including the UKMT Maths Challenges. We enter pupils in Years 4-6 in the Primary Maths Challenge (designed for pupils in Years 5-6), pupils in Years 5-8 for the Junior Maths Challenge (designed for pupils in Years 7-8) and pupils in Years 6-9 the Intermediate Maths Challenge (designed for pupils in Years 9-11).
