Our School Newsletter is published fortnightly. It covers a wide variety of items including: latest news, notifications, reminders, reviews, sporting results and triumphs; extra-curricular activities and much more. We use the Newsletter to keep our parents informed of what is happening at school – from menu changes to music lessons and match reports. If something is happening at Milbourne, parents always get to hear about it.

On Thursday 24th May our U6 scholars travelled to the Globe Theatre in London to see Romeo and Juliet. The theatre was built to look as close to the original Globe theatre as possible so we were interested to see what it would have looked like when William Shakespeare was writing and working there.

Our ‘Voice of the Parent’ programme has won a 2017 Confirmit ACE (Achievement in Customer Excellence) Award. This is the second year that this programme, implemented by Cognita across all their schools, has been commended, with the ongoing feedback received from parents directly inputting into the continuous improvement at the school.

Huge congratulations to Henry Franke in 4A (Year 6) for achieving a Merit Award (the highest award) in the Grey Kangaroo, designed for pupils in Year 9.

The Arthur Ransome Society recently invited Milbourne Lodge to submit an article detailing the projects on which we have been working in Art and IT, for their publication ‘Signals’.
