Milbourne Lodge Public Speaking Competition 2022

We are delighted to announce the winners of the Milbourne Lodge Public Speaking Competition which was held on Monday 28th March. Pupils and staff we treated to an impressive range of speeches, delivered with confidence and style. A huge range of topic were discussed, ranging from whether zoos and aquariums help conservation to the advantages and disadvantages of autonomous vehicles.
The winners were:
Edward in 1D for his speech about homework, Rien in 4SA who spoke about school uniform and Alexi in M6 who spoke very persuasively about the pressures experienced by elite athletes.

It was a huge achievement to reach this stage of the competition and we were amazed by the quality of all their speeches.
