Headmaster's Welcome

Everyone here at Milbourne Lodge is proud of our school and its wonderful heritage. Our philosophy is to combine the proven values of a traditional education with the positive and encouraging environment a child needs to flourish and grow. I am extremely lucky to have an immensely dedicated team of teaching staff who work tirelessly to achieve this.

We know that children thrive on high expectations and challenge, whether in the classroom, on the sports field or in the creative arts. By setting the bar high, Milbourne Lodge boys and girls gain entry to the top British public schools, many of them at Scholarship level. Our aim is to provide a first class all-round education which will prepare them for the next stage of their school life and beyond.

Yet for all these high standards, we believe that the happiness of our children is paramount. The school seeks to develop confident individuals who understand the importance of good manners and respect for others at all times who will leave Milbourne Lodge well-prepared for an ever-changing world, with a good understanding of their responsibilities within it.
