The school was founded in 1912 by Harvey Wyatt. Originally both the junior (pre-prep) and senior (prep) schools operated together, but this situation changed following the death of Mr Wyatt. In 1948 Milbourne Lodge Prep School was purchased by Mr Norman Hale who held the position of Headmaster for more than 50 years, and owned the school until 2007. Milbourne Lodge is now part of Cognita Schools Ltd. |
