Academic
English, French, Latin, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, Religious Studies, Art and I.T. are taught throughout the school by subject specialists. Music lessons are taught to the younger classes, and the Scholarship stream begin Ancient Greek in Year 6. There is widespread use of project and research work throughout the school.

From Year 5, pupils are divided into two streams. This system enables children to work with others of similar ability, and it is quite normal for pupils to move from one stream to the other as their progress and needs require. Generally speaking, from Year 6 onwards, teaching is geared towards Scholarship work in the A-stream, whilst the B-stream concentrates largely on the demands of the Common Entrance syllabus, although it is not uncommon for pupils to win Scholarships from the C.E. class. Children undergo preparation in verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning and interview technique to enhance their performance in pre-tests to senior schools. Our record of securing children a place at their first choice school is outstanding.
