Association Football is played during the Christmas term, Rugby in the Easter term and Cricket in the Summer term. There is a hard tennis court and an open-air, heated, swimming pool.

Girls at Milbourne Lodge play Rounders, Netball and Hockey. They are also taught Athletics.

Milbourne Lodge School is set in 8 acres of grounds with the added facility of adjoining hundreds of acres of woodland. Games are played by all pupils daily. During the Christmas and Easter terms the woodlands are used for cross-country running and group 'ambushes' which are immensely popular. Milbourne Lodge has a strong tradition in cross-country running both at county and national level.
